Our PE Risk Management team is looking for a hands-on student to start as soon as possible and who can commit to this role for at least 2 years. This role is designed to be a full-time role during the semester break and will offer flexibility during studies with ideally three working days per week and some time off during exam phase. The successful candidate will support with the following tasks:

  • Taking care of the investment appetite/allocation process together with the Risk team;
  • Supporting the Investment Committee process as needed incl. writing minutes and performing pre-execution checks on investments;
  • Conducting risk reviews for various portfolios and single investments;
  • Monitoring of side letter requirements, investments and portfolios;
  • Participating in various risk projects: new tools, specifications, user tests, data queries;
  • Managing of internal and external risk-related requests, contributing to DDQs and presentations.

 

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor or beginning of Master degree in business, economics, finance, quantitative studies, accounting or similar subject;
  • Excellent command of MS office, in particular Excel;
  • Experience with databases and e.g. SQL would be an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written language skills in English, German is an advantage;
  • Team player, loyal and highly committed with a long term perspective;
  • Reliable and perceptive.
